Balajee Sewa Sansthan has formed 125 SHGs in last year and 200 SHGs in process for FY 2014-15 by the financial support of NABARD, Dehradun Region. BSS all ready formed and linked with Bank of 50 SHGs of BPL family for DRDA Dehradun in Sahaspur Block. In last Year more than 25 lakh saving created by SHG members and utilizing for interloaning among the member as per her needs and requirements.

It is a pity that people still don’t feel a need to insure themselves and their family against sickness and major ailments which take away a major portion of their savings and in some cases most of their assets. People are being educated to buy health insurance coverage for themselves and their family. With the tie up of BSS with Vimo Sewa health, Insurance has picked up among the people and they are now coming forward to obtain the risk cover.
Beena Sharma & Gayatri Deshwal were involved in a road accident in Nov 2012. Both were hospitalized and kept in the ICU. After fifteen days, Beena recovered but Gayatri Deshwal had to be referred to another specialized hospital where she died. Balajee Sewa Sansthan helped her family in settlement of medical claim of Rs. 10000 and accidental death claim of Rs. 75,000. Gayatri’s family got a cheque of Rs. 85,000 as insurance claim against her micro-health insurance from Vimo Sewa, Ahmedabad.
